Take a glimpse into 1940s fashions through a handcrafted dress made by Mrs Alice Free for her daughter Patricia Hazel Forsyth (née Free). With its Peter Pan collar and charming embroidered flowers adorning the sash and skirt, this dress tells a story of family, craftsmanship, and personal history.
Pou Ārahi/Director, Dr Bronwyn Labrum will present the dress with an informal public talk.
No need to book. Admission is free. Koha for the Museum is always appreciated.
