The Whanganui Regional Museum Trust (WRMT) has appointed a panel to;

• Review the Museum’s constitution and governance body
• Consider the transfer of Museum staff and operations to the Whanganui District Council (excluding the management of the collection and taonga, which will remain with the governance body)
• Consult widely with iwi, stakeholders, and Museum supporters about the proposed changes, concerns, and gather feedback from everyone invested in the Museum’s future
