Aitanga-a-pēpeke is the family name for all the tiny crawling, flying and burrowing invertebrates that populate Aotearoa New Zealand.

Invertebrates are more numerous, more diverse and more important within our ecological landscape than any other living creatures. In this exhibition, we tell stories of some of the invertebrates important to Whanganui.
