Join us for an exclusive fashion talk as we explore a significant aspect of New Zealand society. The Outfit of the Month for September is an ivory-coloured sleeveless dress worn by Rosemary Haylock in the early 1970s for her 21st birthday celebration.

Pou Ārahi/Director, Dr Bronwyn Labrum will present the dress with an informal public talk.

Learn about the dress’s design and construction, and reconnect with a tradition that has played a significant role in shaping New Zealand’s cultural identity.

No need to book. Admission is free. Koha for the Museum is always appreciated.
